How it works

Choose one of six friendly monsters, then paint inside the outline with the brush — colors never spill outside the lines, so it is great for young kids. "Base color" fills the whole body underneath what you already painted, and the eraser turns areas back to white. When you press "Set free in the moonlight", your monster appears on a hill beneath the full moon and each one moves its own way: the ghost floats and sways through the air, the slime boings along squishing as it lands, the cyclops stomps around happily, the bat flutters and swoops across the sky, the baby dragon trots and bursts into little sprints, and the mummy shuffles along at its own sleepy pace. Monsters roam the whole moonlit hill among glowing fireflies and drifting fog. Your own monsters never disappear while the page is open; the background is filled with recent drawings from other visitors around the world, which rotate over time. When you leave the page, your latest drawings are sent to the hill so other visitors can meet them too.

Frequently asked questions

Do other people see my monster?
Yes. While you are on the page, your monsters roam only on your own hill. When you leave the page, your latest drawings are uploaded and appear as background monsters on other visitors' hills. No name or personal information is attached — only the picture itself.
Is it scary for young children?
No — every monster is drawn in a cute, friendly cartoon style with big round eyes and smiles, and the night hill glows with a warm full moon and fireflies. It is designed to feel cozy, not spooky.
Is this safe for kids?
Yes — there is no free drawing, no text, no chat and no user names. Children can only color inside fixed monster outlines, so nothing inappropriate can be created or shared.
Can I save my monster as an image?
Yes — press "Save picture" to download your colored monster as a PNG image, ready for printing or sharing.
